

New Beginnings
Is an adult day program that consists of social, recreational and therapeutic services for those with seizure and/or head injuries in a group setting throughout the week. New beginnings not only services these individuals, it doubles as support for family caregivers who provide day-to-day care.
Transportation to and from programs will be the responsiblity of the individual or their caregivers. There is the option of Timmins Handi Trans at a minimal cost to the client. Contact your service provider in regards to Timmins Handi Trans.
Weekly activities run Monday to Friday daily and consists of computer classes, arts & crafts, bowling, walking programs, cooking & nutrition, coffee & games, scrapbooking and yoga. Some activities are seasonal such as gardening and mini putt.
Other activies are often added to the monthly calendar such as movie night or hockey games on the availability of staff.
